Swing Trader Pro: Afternoon Briefing (02-23-2023)

This morning the market popped.

Then it faded most of the day until about 1:00 p.m. ET, when the rally started, right off of support.

$SPY dipped below 396.76, and then it bounced from there.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I bought $NVDA at 235.93 and sold at 236.99.
  • I bought $SQQQ at 38.99 and sold at 39.40.
  • I bought $MRNA at 145.08 and sold at 145.58.

I called out a couple of shorts in the room, $NVDA below 235 for a move to 233 and $AMD below 78.80 for a move to 78.20. I took both trades.

I booked one loss today:

  • I bought $VLO on Feb. 2 at 132.78 and sold at 132.

If we manage to hold the 400 level tomorrow, I'll be looking for 404 soon.
