The More Things Change, The More They Are The Same
I just got back from a beautiful hike that crosses multiple beaches and bays. After living next to Antarctica for a year, it's nice to be closer to the tropics!
Living in a small island country, my friends and family are often removed from what's happening out there in the world.
Trying to explain to them data centres in space or how the financial system is about to be upended is always a fun challenge.
But the question I always get is:
"Louis this sounds really cool, but how is it going to impact my life?"
It's one that you've probably asked yourself about these technological shifts.
And here's the simple answer.
The more things change, the more they are the same.
Much of this is invisible, and mostly because Wall Street wants to keep it that way.
Think about crypto.
The original idea was that it was going to remove financial intermediaries and allow people to un-bank themselves in a decentralized utopia.
But now the state of play is that Wall Street recognizes that blockchain technology is incredibly powerful and could eliminate a lot of burden and expense for these institutions.
So now the leaders of the tokenization revolution, to bring Wall Street on this new technology of blockchains, is being led by... Wall Street themselves.
And this is why I'm honestly so bullish on this theme and have personally allocated my entire account to this one idea.
Wall Street, banks, and even the U.S. government was never going to allow its people to be have their own self sovereign financial system outside the U.S. regulatory perimeter.
So all these attempts at trying to do exactly that have failed.
You may of even invested in some of these technologies in past cycles and lost money.
But this is legitimately different.
Because BlackRock and JPMorgan are launching their own money market funds on this new blockchain technology.
The DTCC, which holds over $100 trillion assets on behalf of every broker in the United States, is beginning their upgrade of the U.S. financial system onto this new technology in less than three weeks time!
Beginning 15th July, every financial institution in the United States will be allowed to convert their old electronic records into new tokenized records.
And beginning next year, every commercial bank in the U.S. is also beginning their new service for tokenized deposits. The DTCC tokenization service I mentioned before deals with one half: securities.
The bank's tokenized deposit service deals with the other half: the cash.
Once both sides come together, and they will, there will be a major period of wealth creation in the companies building this technology.
Because, as I said, the more things change, the more they are the same.
The same regulations and compliance apply.
So crypto, which was created to remove intermediaries, is actually doing the opposite.
It's creating more of them!
Transfer agents, custody, clearing houses, and new banks. They're all required and when this new technology is supporting the entire U.S. financial system, these companies will either become incredibly valuable, or the JP Morgan's and Goldman's of the world will begin a massive acquiring spree because they won't be giving up control of the market.
So that's why I'm buying these stocks like crazy.
You're only hearing about SpaceX, the Fed, AI IPOs in the media.
But even Jefferies, one of the largest banks in the world, project that in the next few years, there's about to be $1 trillion of IPOs not in AI or chips, but in companies building out this new tokenized economy.
And that is one of the largest opportunities playing out in the entire market right now you're not being told about.
Every single time there are major shifts in the market, there are a handful of companies that make early investors incredibly wealthy.
Visa returned 30x after it came to market.
Mastercard returned 130x after it's IPO.
And so you're probably thinking:
Louis, what are the stocks to buy today with this new major upgrade to the financial system?
I'll give you one for free, with a caveat.
Securitize.
It's likely going to be completing its SPAC in the next two weeks, currently under the ticker CEPT which will be converting to SECZ.
It's the only vertically integrated tokenization platform company in the world, and BlackRock have deep relationships with this company.
But the devil is in the details.
I'm not buying Securitize when it goes public immediately. Because like I've been writing about SpaceX and other IPOs, I want to wait till they crash after the IPO hype fades then buy them.
Securitize is the first IPO that's beginning this new wave of tokenized companies going to market, so it certainly won't be the last.
If this does interest you, I do all of this research every single day, including talking with the founders of these networks/companies to find the best opportunities to make money as this new upgrade hits the U.S. stock market beginning in less than three weeks.
And just this week, I took a new position in a company that I think can return 10x over the coming years, which will be kicked off by a major regulatory shift unfolding in Europe next week.
New MiCA regulations take place which will remove the license to operate for thousands of firms, and the entire European market will be forced to work with this company to operate.
Yet it's trading barely above the value of its liquid assets on its balance sheet, meaning the market isn't even pricing in this opportunity.
If you want the report where I name my entire thesis around this company, as well as one network that is actively working with the DTCC to enable the tokenization of $100 trillion of assets, you can sign up to my new service, The Tokenization Report.
The more things change, the more they are the same.
We've seen this playbook unfold multiple times in history before.
And every single time, it was always a major opportunity to build wealth.
Cheers!
