Being Right Isn't the Same as Getting Paid

I've spent the entire year making the case that tokenization is the most important shift in finance right now, that it's America's play to keep the dollar on top, and that the companies building it are the soldiers in that fight.

But being right about all of that is worth exactly nothing on its own.

I've been right before. I've watched a thesis play out almost exactly as I called it and still walked away with less money than someone who never thought about it at all. Because I sized the position too small. Or I took profits before the real move. Or I held onto the one name that didn't work while trimming the two that did.

The thesis is the easy part. Everything after it of how much, when, and when to stop is where the money is actually made or lost.

That's the part I get help with and one of the people I talk to about it is my Australian friend Grant Hawkridge.

Grant is a former financial planner who now runs his own portfolio using systems he built for himself and for other funds. What makes him useful to me isn't that he's smart about any particular theme. It's that he's completely indifferent to them. He doesn't care about tokenization. He'd be just as happy running his process on utilities or gold miners or something I've never heard of.

His whole approach comes down to one number, which he calls the green light, a single reading between 0 and 100 that tells him how much risk to take on and which stocks deserve to be owned right now. That's it and it takes him fifteen minutes a day.

His account is up 53% this year. The S&P 500 is up 10% over the same stretch.

So I bring the conviction, and Grant brings discipline that keeps conviction from costing money.

He's just launched a new service called Apex Trader, which includes:

  • The number, daily: that single green light reading that tells him how aggressive to be.
  • A leadership trade most weeks: his highest-conviction setups, targeting gains of up to +600%.
  • A Sector Scorecard: all 11 sectors graded, so you can see where strength is building before it's obvious.
  • A weekly live call: Grant runs the number in real time and takes questions, including mine.

He's running a launch offer for his first group of members: $495 for the year, down from $1,995, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If it's not for you, or you find the Aussie accent as goofy as I do, cancel inside 30 days and get every dollar back.

Take a look at what Grant's put together here.
