The Daily Flow

Cheap ad-tech, insurance software climbing, and a nursing-home operator worth watching

This note highlights a select group of stocks showing the most unusual — and highly directional — options activity.

The goal is simple: follow the big money and trade in the direction of the underlying trend.

Here is the list of Unusual Options activity from Jul 1:

MediaAlpha $MAX — A tiny name in the ad-tech space that most people forgot existed, but it's already up almost 40% over the past month and the options desk just noticed.

564 contracts of the 2/19/27 $15 calls hit, a patient bet on a stock to keep pressing higher.

Porch Group $PRCH — Insurance software that grinds along quietly, and then someone shows up with real size behind the move.

3,700 contracts of the 8/21 $20 calls just landed for $333K in premium, and with the stock near 16, that's a clean directional push for a breakout.

Ensign Group $ENSG — Medical care facilities are a hot spot, and this one is basically flat on the month, which makes the size here interesting.

309 contracts of the 12/18 $195 calls changed hands for $297K, a longer-dated call that says buyers see room to run.
